SCHOOL SHOWS

The Fort Wayne Youtheatre strives to produce fun and exciting shows with great educational value. It is part of our mission to incorporate literature-based reading into our main-stage productions. Our shows are chosen from recommended lists of children’s classics and naturally connect with elementary/ middle school state standards for Language Arts in Indiana. Exposure to the theatre assists in the cultural development of young people, and attending a live performance is a novel and exciting way to educate your students!

This year a limited number of FREE TICKETS will be available to each school show performance. If interested in applying for these free tickets, please fill out the School Show Reservation form and the accompanying questions by clicking the "Reserve Tickets" button(s) below. Based on availability we will offer them on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking can be found in the church parking lot or surrounding side streets.

How Long is the Show?

All of our shows run between 70-90 minutes. More approximate times can be given closer to the show.

Is there a Place to Eat Lunch?

There is not a place to eat at the Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab Theatre, Arts United Center, Embassy Theatre, or First Presbyterian Theater. If the weather permits, we suggest Freimann Square Park right next to the Arts United Center.

There will be a 10-15 minute talkback following each our Young Heroes of Conscience show only. If you need to leave before this please let a staff member know and exit the theatre quietly.
