Learn to dance like a Broadway pro in your own home and at your own pace!  This is the pre-recorded version of our first online DANCING WITH A BROADWAY PRO: CATS' CHRISTINE CORNISH SMITH workshop from January 2021.  You'll start by warming up, then learn a combination from the 2017 Broadway revival of CATS, and finally tune in for the Q&A in which Christine discusses auditions, colleges and how to approach a career in musical theatre.  Hit play, pause, rewind...whatever you need.  This class is yours to access as often as you like for 60 days.
 
Christine Cornish Smith is a true triple-threat NYC based dancer, singer and actor.  She made her Broadway debut originating the role of Bombalurina in the Broadway revival of CATS, for which she was nominated for a 2017 Chita Rivera Award.   She was most recently on Broadway in KISS ME, KATE and MY FAIR LADY.  Christine toured in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, played Laurie in OKLAHOMA! at the MUNY and was featured in the 25th Anniversary CRAZY FOR YOU concert at Lincoln Center.   She has worked closely with noted choreographers Andy Blankenbuehler (HAMILTON) and Susan Stroman (CRAZY FOR YOU).  She is a teacher for CLI studios, Institute of American Musical Theater, Broadway Workshop and Broadway Classroom, among many other programs.  While a student at the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Christine spent several Christmases in Fort Wayne as featured soloist in the Philharmonic's Holiday Pops.
